A Bit About Me
My architectural journey is rooted in a longstanding interest in identity, culture, and the ways in which people relate to the spaces they inhabit. As a British-Indiandesigner and artist, I have always been drawn to questions of memory, belonging, representation, and social justice, exploring how architecture can respond to the diverse experiences of individuals, communities, and ecologies.
Over the course of my academic and professional development, including nearly three years of experience within architectural practice, I have worked across a range of scales and project types, developing skills in design, research, visual communication, technical coordination, and collaborative working. Alongside this professional experience, my Masters in Architecture has deepened my interest in architecture as a cultural and political act, extending beyond the production of buildings to engage with wider social, environmental, and historical conditions.
My work is informed by an understanding that architecture is never neutral. Whether exploring migration, infrastructure, community-led design, ecological stewardship, or collective memory, I am interested in how spatial interventions can reveal overlooked narratives and create more equitable futures. Drawing from both lived experience and critical research, I approach design as a process of inquiry, storytelling, and advocacy, seeking to create spaces that are inclusive, meaningful, and responsive to the complexities of contemporary life.
As Donna Haraway reminds us, “it matters what stories we tell to tell other stories with.” This principle continues to underpin my practice, shaping an architectural approach grounded in curiosity, critical reflection, and a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
